Anonymous, 157-156 BC. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.46 g, 1 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace; behind, X (mark of value). Rev. ROMA Victory driving biga to right, holding goad in her right hand and reins in her left. Crawford 197/1a. RBW 846. Sydenham 376. Magnificent old cabinet toning. Small edge chip and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
